If you’re lucky enough to live in the beautiful Central North Island you are lucky twice over because this year’s Great NZ Toasty Takeover entries in New Plymouth, Napier, Urenui, Hawera, Taranaki and Taupo are top notch.

Smashed local Angus beef grilled with McClure's Sweet & Spicy Pickles, smoked cheddar, grilled bacon with a rewena sourdough bread served with fries & smoked McClure's Pickle foam.
2. Smokey Mooloo, jimmy coops lakehouse 📍 Taupo
Lakeman Farms house smoked beef pastrami and short rib, grilled pineapple, melted provolone, McClure's Sweet & Spicy Pickles, Lakeman Stout BBQ Sauce and beer mustard relish in a wood fired panini. Topped with a deep fried McClure's Dill Pickle Spear.

8. Melted Pancetta and Brie Toastie , upside Down Eatery, 📍 Hawera
Smokey beef & bacon chilli, sharp cheddar, mozzarella, McClure's sweet & spicy pickles, Dijon and garlic confit butter on thick white toast bread.
9. The Smoked Chicken Ripper, Brew Union, 📍Palmerston North
Slices of smoked chicken and McClure's Pickles smothered with the most deliciously extravagant Beer & Cheddar Cheese sauce (made with our Brewery’s very own Ripper NZ Pale Ale) folded thru with spring onions and crispy crumbled pancetta… All sandwiched between two slices of BABCO’s locally baked Sourdough Bread served with a house made caramelised onion mayo on the side.
10. Miso Marinated Pulled Pork Toastie, albion canteen, 📍 Napier
